Need your location buddy. Sounds like your fishing from the bank but if possible the water temp would be nice. But seeing a warming trend in progress I would think they would be getting pretty active. Some type of bait that gets a reaction bite would be the ticket I am guessing without knowing the water temp. This time of year water temp is a big plus. Cranks and spinnerbaits produce ALOT of bass tghis time of year if the water is in the high to low 60's with plastics being real close as well. One thing I firmly beleive in is 1/4 oz spinners and cranks as the fish are feeding the young bait of the year. Just my .02 worth.

Personally spinnerbaits and crankbaits would be number 1 on my list. If they are reluctant to hit them slow down and use worms jigs or some kinda plastic and then you should pick up some more nass. If going early rember that they need to warm up a bit when it still cold at night so dont expect the bite to get real good till later in the day.
