Anyone use tica or redington rods? I was wondering because I heard or read they are pretty good rods for half the price as the higher end gloomis or kistlers, etc. Thanks I think I need one more rod, baitcaster for general purpose, 6-1/2 or 7 fter. med or med/hev.

No I haven't heard of them, but here's the link again for a great rod if you like the Kistler's, less money and they don't break like a twig www.roguerods.com

I've heard of Redington rods and I picked up a catalogue from them. I'll be looking into them since there are two local tackle shops that carry them. They carry entire line of casting rods that look pretty sweet for about $100.

Some consider their fly rods to be a "best buy" for the money so I'd be willing to give their others a try.
