Bill, welcome to the forum. To answer your question you need to get a little more specific. There is no best way or lure to catch bass overall, but there are baits and techniques that will work better than others under certain conditions. Where will you be fishing-pond, lake, river? Is the water clear, stained, muddy? What kind of cover-weeds, lilly pads, flooded trees? That will give us a starting place to point you in the right direction.
