Clear Lake 4.22.06 report/pics

Clear Lake wasnt that nice to me today. I got only 2 fish. Weather had been good in the past week but today was a whole different ballgame. Water has warmed up about 5-7 degrees(high was 60) We had a tough day. Weather was nasty(rain&wind)! There was a major tourney that put ALOT of pressure on the water(160+ boats). We fished everywhere and threw everything. I got 1 fish(picture) on a Lucky Craft staysee and 1 on a swimbait(small fish). My swimbait was bigger than the fish...lol! Yhe fish in the picture weighed on Cul-M-Rite @ 8.16. She was fat and wanting to spawn badly! Over all it a decent day!

Great fish Deacon, a typical Clear Lake pig. There were a lot of boats there this weekend. It was like a revolving door up at Rodman Slough. Everywhere I could see there was a boat.

I knew there was something I was forgetting about northern california fishing, oh yeah...the boat ramp traffic, like a walmart check out lane. Still would love to go back to Shasta someday. Nice FisH...
