warbird,
try a weedless tube, the new whizbang mossgreen/brown tube comes with whizbang enzymes that naturally dissolve all moss/slime/algae that it comes in contact with.. hope that helps |

What is moss ? We get a green algae slime looking stuff here, but it only covers the jig as you pick the jig up through the weeds, picking up the green gunk on the retrieve. if you do not take the time to clean it off the jig, the next pitch, or flip the jig will fall faster than the green gunk will through the water leaving a clean jig again, only to pick up another batch of green gunk on the next retrieve.I use smelly jelly on my jigs, it allows the jig to slip through the weeds better than any other scent I have tried. If you buy the smelly jelly, try the Craw daddy, or Bass Hammer scent.
