I am thinking about getting some skirted finesse jigs. I am wondering if anybody could give me some ideas on what name brand I should buy and what trailer you suggest?
Thanks ahead of time. |

Welcome aboard and you are about to be bit by the bait monkey. There are thousands of combonations of trailers and jigs out there. One of my personal favorites for finesse jigging is the Eakins jig. As far as the trailers I like the smaller sweet beaver. DO NOT use this jig in heavy cover. The hook cant take alot of pressure but serves well in more open water. Another favorite of mine is the Oldhams jih head with the screw lock. I use a spider skirt with a twin tail grub on it. FANTASTIC smallie bait.

I use a Hart finesse jig. I use all kinds of things for a trailer, but try and match the color of your trailer and jig.
