Lake Buchanan
Has anyone ever fished Lake Buchanan? I was told not to waste my time fishing it

I have never heard of it, but I couldn't imagine not wanting to fish any lake that might hold a bass, or 2.Can you give us an idea of what its like, or maybe a few pictures to go by ?I am assuming its in Texas right ? P N J

PnJ, think wall-to-wall lake lice and skiers. I haven't fished it for that reason.

Anit ya got cordless drills in Texas ? Make sure to take extra battery packs, it won't keep them off the water for long. They have got more money than brains, but it might allow you to enjoy a few days fishing before the shop can get them patched up ? Of course I am joking. P N J

I just got back from a Pre-fish on that lake and I will have to say the water level is really down. I was told the river was a good place to start. Water was muddy and the alarm kept going off. So I went to main lake to hit some flats.
