Got out there for the 4th time this year... for the longest as well. My friend and I went out on "the pond" for a few hours and had a showdown... he won 3-0.

Oh well, I had a few decent hits but they all came off. Sounds like the good old Lone Archer everyone used to know, eh?

But we had fun, and I already challenged him to a rematch.

Getting hot up here in Maine, water's in the 70's now!

Stray Arrow, Good to see you back. The reason you got skunked could be be, because you have had your priorities wrong. This is the first time I have seen you around the site in a while .

Hey friends! I'm glad to see people who've been here and helped teach me some great techniques and given great advice are still around.

Unfortunately it's been school and not running. :/ My running days are actually over. But since I graduate next week, school won't be a problem anymore!

Reb, I did sharpen the hooks because they were dull and rusty. They scraped my fingernail pretty good. I think the real problem is that the bass were tugging at the tails of my worms and not getting good hooksets that way.

Zoom-worms still got hits though... can't go wrong with a slug-go or a zoom worm.
