Bank Fishing

Hi, I am new to the board. Me and some friends of mine like to go to the public fishing area of Lake Jordan in N.C. We like to sit on the bank and relax and fish. I try to catch some Bass with my artificial lures, but not even a bite. The are tons of vertival structure, limbs, and weeds. What lure/technique wold help. A little more info would be that we do catch small/young fish with live worms. The area looks great, but doesn't produce Bass.

there is a possibilty it doesn't produce bass. I would try some minnows or small 1-3" long baitfish. Throw it out by some cover and hold on.

Welcome to the forum!

If you have a sot of cover you might go with soft plastics-Texas rigged worms, soft stickbaits like a Tiki Stick, soft jerkbaits like a Zoom Super Fluke. This time of year I have a lot of success using this type of bait.

also pick colors depending on the water color.....muddy/stained water-darker colors claerer water-natural colors 8) and fish parralel to the shore 8) good luck

no fishing is boring.....atleast to me....but hey i love to fish.....whenever i can.
