Default Rats

I use a topwater fly like that but smaller. I think I would pass on diving rat since I have never seen one swim under the water. It is odd and just may be the ticket. I had a guy on the boat who used a budwieser lure and caught fish all day with it.

Odder things have worked..

The one that I remeber was called a Worden Rat if memory serves me. I do beleive that it has a time and a place but wouldnt do very well for me because of the treble hook. I fish in TRASH all the time.

Default Nothing new

The hair rat has been around and available to fly-rodders for years.
