I was thinking about getting a mitchell spinning reel
matched with whuppin stick, but i would like to everones opinion on this, before i buy this setup, if anyone has better advice, please let me know, because i am a beginner at bass fishin, i normally do alot of trout fishing, also i would like to thank everyone who has replied to my questions, because like i said earlier i am a beginner at this bass fishing. thanks |

i would go with the shimano sahara 4000fb with a 6'6'' MH action ugly stik 8)

I own and use a mitchell 308x and really like it I used it most the time until I bought a pfluger trion this year I use that reel on my crankin rod and the mitchell on my worm rod The rods are Fenwick eagle gts the worm rod is 6'6"ed and the craning rod is 6'6" ML action Im really happy with these set ups

for a beginner, a GREAT reel for the money is the shimano catera. you pick the size you want for the kind of fishing you're gonna be doing. i got one 3 years ago for somewhere between 40 and 60 bucks (can't really remember...but i know it wasn't expensive). As far as rods go, i'm an ugly stik fan.
