zoom baits

When I get alot of advice from people most of them talk about zoom baits. What is the difference between all those different kinds.

Zoom, Wave Worms, Gambler, Yamamoto, all of them pretty much made the same way, some have heavy salt added to them, some have garlic, some have other good things that are supposed to be appealing to bass, but for the most part, they're all the same. Zoom has been around a while, and has a wide variety of styles of baits, they make a good worm and grub, the Bush Hog is one of my personal favorites. But you can catch fish on just about any of the soft plastics available, if you work them with confidence and patience.

100% accurate statement by "betursweetbass". Zoom just has a HUGE variety, so they get mentioned a lot. Personally I only pour my stik baits with salt, the rest of my baits float, just gives the angler more options on how to fish it.
Nothing special about zoom, but Ill admit, I have a package of zoom super flukes in my box (i dont pour those, yet)

I think a lot of people like Zoom because they have very affordable prices and make really quality, proven baits.

Zoom super flukes ftw. My friend uses these a lot, catches a lot on albino and motor oil color. Picked up a package myself.

I can tell ya from a long time ago zoom was one of the first plastics that had salt packed in them, a big concern for companys like culprit that had plenty of the market.. anglers soon found out about zoom lizards and then the whole line that zoom came out with...I remember some tackle stores would dedicate 2 walls of the store with just zoom lizards

Ironman you need to get a Bass Pro catalog and set yourself down and have a look. Zoom makes several different types of plastic baits. They make a lizard which looks like a lizard, different types of worms such as their 4" ring worm, 6" U-Tale, and so on. The fluke that everybody talks about is a plastic jerkbait that simulates a minnow or shad. So you need to research a little bit on some of this stuff. Have your parents, or pay for it yourself and buy a few fishing magazines and you can learn from them somewhat on what a few of these baits look like.

in worms they have: finesse,trick,dead ringer, u-tail,c-tail,z-nail,floating,ultra vibe,magII,ole monster 10.5", and i know i am missing at least one or two.. they are fairly cheap and the WORK...

My only gripe re ZOOM is that their baits are horribly fragile. The Finesse ZOOM is a "one fish, one worm" item, as an example. When lifting a 10" dink bass into the boat, his frantic flopping will almost always cause the worm to tear off and go flying away.
Because of that, ZOOMs cost more to use than one miight suspect.
Love them rascals, though.
