Default Funding the Monkey

How do y'all do it? This summer, I'm working for an A/C company, and looking for a better job.

A/C work in Fl. You should be pretty busy this time of year. You'll never have enough money for the monkey. The more money you make, the more money he will spend. The best you can do is use will power and keep him contained as much as possible.

I look at the bait monkey like i look at my truck note....it's something that i'll always have.....hehehehehe.....when i got out of college i swore i'd never drive a P.O.S. again.....so i don't.....and when the bait monkey says "feed me"....then i obey....lol.....can't be fishing with all old stuff....gotta throw a new fangled lure in there now and then....and as i always say...."one can never have enough baits/lures".....besides i don't waste money on shoes to match outfits either.....hehehehe......I'll take fishing over fashion anyday of the year.....

To take a line from a John Anderson song, "I drive me a big ol semi truck I'm makin payments on a 2 room shack (hafta change next line) my wife she's an LPN and at night she rubs my back" I hate drivin truck but I'm dang good at it though. 20+ years without an accident almost 2 million miles. I've fed that damn monkey so good in the past year he's about to bust. Bought a new Dodge 3500 quad cab 8' bed 4 wheel drive single wheel non-dually with a Cummins diesel last year. Traded up to a 2001 Ranger 520 DVX with a 225 Merc EFI back in Feb. this year. Have spent more dang money at Bass Pro in a year than I would normally spend in 3. Wife and kids helped pay for 16 brand new All-Star Select rods from Dick's Sporting Goods this year.Bought 4 Shimano Symetre reels off e-bay last Christmas. Paid my club dues this week. All of this in preparation to get back into tourney fishin after a 7 year absence. Final tally for everything I'm afraid to total it all. Value of gettin some relaxation again PRICELESS.

When payday comes around the bait monkey is usually there with his had out, so being a nice guy the monkey and I drive down to wally world to see what's on sale. On the way we stop at Outdoor Pro Shop and pick up a few items there. On the way back we stop at Long's drugs where they carry a really nice supply of gammys and senkos, quite a selection of other baits as well, even Lucky Craft, but the markup is too great there. So by the time we get home, I tired out from all the driving, walking and reaching into the wallet, I just let the monkey put the stuff away in the garage and then we do it all over again in two weeks. My wife hates the bait monkey, I just put up with him.
