Default how to fish my lake???

I have been fishing this lake for a onth and have cought one baby bass on it. I know there are big bass in here b/c i have seen people pull a couple off 5 pounders out and have seen pictures of 10 pounders pulled out. I was just wondering how yall would fish it.

I assume you are fishing from a boat and not shore correct?

I usually fish from the shore b/c I'm only 13, and cant afford a boat. Sometimes I rent a jon boat from the bait shop though.

I assume that not all areas are accessible on foot. Any particular areas you can get to that are open for shore fishing? Also times are pretty important when are you able to fish it? Early or late, mid afternoon?

This is the lake, correct?


Its a lake that I would prefer to have a jon boat for. I would focus heaviliy on the sloughs along each branch. From the looks of the aerial photo the land seems to slope down into the lake, so I think there will be depth and probably laydowns in the area.

Fish the breaks mate the drop offs into deep water the big boys hang out there and what wtl said.
