ok..
I have about 5 buzzbaits that would not run straight no matter what... how do you adjust them so they don't take a sharp left every time you retrieve them? I've tried EVRYTHING.... I don't feel like throwing away lures... lol seaphantom

You could use that to your advantage. Cast it so that when it makes the turn it hits some cover. fish can't stand that.I even tune mine sometimes to intentially run into cover.
As far as how to stop it,check to see the the wire is not bent even the slightest. It must be in perfect alignment with the hook. If it was not molded straight,(even the slightest misalignment)it will always give you problems. |

My method is to bend it this way, that way, and every other way, and if I'm lucky, it will run straighter eventually. In other words, I don't know how to tune the damn things. Even when it's running on its side, I can look and not see anything out of alignment.

I always eye down the hook, the lead, and then the wire that bends where you tie on, and then straighten that part of the buzzbait (the wire) to be linear to the hook.
