hey,
sometimes taking the barb off can help! It can help make the release of fish easier sometimes. |

Buy the Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp trailer hook packs. they come with the tubing and a hook to slip over your main hook and hole sure on the bend of the hook. they havent let me down yet.

i wouldnt use offset hooks for trailors. just get a hook that has an eye big enough to go over your main hook point. if it doesnt go on easy, dont try to force it on. no barb might make the release easier, but you better not give that fish any slack in the fight, even alittle and the fish will spit the hook.

![]() Clay[/quote] Buy a new one! And use a TRAILER HOOK that is made for being a trailer hook. They are designed just for such a purpose. And they aren't very exspensive at all. Lizards |
