Hey, glad to here you're visiting Maine for a week in late June! It is a wonderful place to be outdoors in the summer and fall months, very beautiful, lots of wildlife, and so many fishing and camping opportunities!
I've never heard of it before, yet I found a brief but useful description on it: http://www.trails.com/tcatalog_trail...lid=XFA051-001 According to this site, it has not only largemouth and smallmouth bass, but also pickerel, brown trout, brook trout, lake trout (togue), white perch, and black crappie. Sounds like a lot of variety! Most likely, the bass, perch, and crappie will be in shallower areas (1-10 ft) in weeds, logs, or rocks. The trout will probably be much deeper in the lake. I encourage you to try for both the bass and the trout, both are great fish, and have fun! |
