Default MOUSAM LAKE MAINE

We rented a cabin for a week in the end of June. I
would like to hear from anyone that has fished this lake
and how they did and where the good spots are on the
lake.
thanks
Mahat

Hey, glad to here you're visiting Maine for a week in late June! It is a wonderful place to be outdoors in the summer and fall months, very beautiful, lots of wildlife, and so many fishing and camping opportunities!

I've never heard of it before, yet I found a brief but useful description on it:

http://www.trails.com/tcatalog_trail...lid=XFA051-001

According to this site, it has not only largemouth and smallmouth bass, but also pickerel, brown trout, brook trout, lake trout (togue), white perch, and black crappie. Sounds like a lot of variety!
Most likely, the bass, perch, and crappie will be in shallower areas (1-10 ft) in weeds, logs, or rocks. The trout will probably be much deeper in the lake.

I encourage you to try for both the bass and the trout, both are great fish, and have fun!
