Well ive been going to my local pond these last couple of days and i havent caught one fish the last 5 times ive been there. I refuse to give up because i know there is potential there ive caught fish there before it jsut seems like the bite is off. I still see fish in there there jsut not biting. Ive tried alot of different teciniques but stil no fish. Now im still fairly new to bass fiashing so i thought mayby i ws fishing the lures wrong. The pond is fairly small with some weeds on the surface and not mutch structure some branches there is one spot with a huge weed bed but i never have luck there eathier. All the bass i do catch are big i rarley catch a small bass. I cant figure out why the bite is off. If anyone can give me some ideas i would appreciate it. I live in orlando and its very hot hear. Mostly around 90-93 degrees. Hopefully you guys can give me some good advic on what to use and how to get these fish.

Lol dead stinking. Dead sticking means either wacky rigging, or weightless rigging a soft plastic and letting it sit for a while, then twitch it slowly, and very slowly work it back in.

I used to fish the orlando golf ponds and there were huge bass. I not once caught a bass on any kind of soft plastic like worms. I always caught fish on those bass on a storm chug bug or those white uncle bucks colorado blade spinnerbaits.

it's summer and the fish are sluggish.go early in the morning or go at night.during the day the bite will slow down or shut of entirely.

No, behind me is some pond next to to a church I call it my practice lake to practice my lures and casting but their is bass in it no bigger then a few pounds though. Also I gave up on cresent lake the water is to shallow so it is impossible to catch anything.

We fish off my friends dock and we use plastic worms for the bass and for catfish we jsut use raw chicken at night. Also he has a cast net and we catch some big shiners off his dock wich does the best. Spinners never wored for me that good. I also got a bite on a top water frog once. Trust me though there fish.
