Default Pacific Fishing

Hi All. My family is planning a vacation to hawaii soon. I havent really looked into it does anyone know good technique or what to expect if i try to fish up there??? I know 1st thing to do would check standards and everything

hawaii has good bass fishing from what i understand.....try the standard baits.

Ive heard about peacock bass caught up there. Also heard of some nice Maui Maui or something like that.

Mahi-Mahi. Dolphin. Dolphinfish. Dorado. Same thing... Big marlin, hog hunting, beaches, it's good stuff. Never been, but would love to go.

Mahi-Mahi just a meer mile from the beach, marlin, sailfish, wahoo, etc. etc. Book a charter offshore!!!

Yeah, I would definitely consider a charter, its fun, it teaches you how to fish the area, plus, you almost always catch nice fish.

Hawaii is great, but not a Bass mecca by any means. I would go for salt water stuff, or diving/snorkling. And DON'T, I repeat DON'T wander off by yourself, into the hills. If you saw deliverance, well it's more like Vietnam/Deliverance LOL. Really there are a lot of Marijuana farms there. It's actually the #1 export, they just don't advertise it LOL. Yeah I've been there 3 times. If you like surfing, it's also a great place, and pleanty of Awesome golf too.
