Whelp, its that time of year again. For all students in central fla, school starts tomorrow morning. I don't care where you are, but starting school in july is just too much. Looks like my busy schedule of fishing is gonna be temporarily pushed aside, but I'll get out for a few hrs every wednesday seeing as how school ends at 1:20. If no one heas from me for the next week or two, you'll know why.

Yeah well I start football camp this week, next week are tryouts,, and then practice, then school. They should have a school fishing team.

I think they start school here in Ohio mid sept....keeps the kids out of the fields when dads need help harvesting crops, but at least its indian summer time by then...july would suck ..hope ya have a.c.

Yeah I know what you mean, Hula. At least for my last year they can't start any earlier than a week before labor day by a new (whats the word im lookin' for??) not law but anyhow. But I think they'll just push school further back and into June instead of around the 25th of May

school for the kids here in Kentucky is generally from the beginning of August until the end of may/beginning of June.

i go back on the 7th of september thank god... and i skip about 3 weeks when i go to india. life is good... im really looking forward to high school, ill have more fishing time! dangit i can choose any fishing time i want- ill lead the fishing team (lol isnt that...ironic i think is the word) and i schedule the meets. pond is like 5 minutes by car.

In Ohio 17 years ago it started around Labor Day to the end of May. Where I grew up they did give time off in November for deer season.
