Hey all...I went out last weekend and did pretty well (5-6 fish biggest around 2#) in the mid morning. I was fishing a super fluke over some grass/weedmat that was in about 7-8 ft of water with the weeds about 2-3 ft down. This is the first time I have tried the fluke and must say it was pretty cool (thanks to all who spoke highly of this). Anyway I have a tourney at this lake this weekend and was wondering if this might be a good method to produce at night (7-2am). bassintom and ratltrap suggested senkos and topwaters (buzz, jitterbugs) in the sunday night chat (which I appreciated greatly). I was just curious to hear some more opinoins for fishing grass at night. I plan to go do some more homework on wednesday night. As always thanks in advance.
Gorilla Oh PS the water temp is usually mid to lower 80s during this time frame...I believe it was around 85 or so when we were out the other day. GW |

I ' m sure some will tell you a black jitterbug and a blackskirted spinnerbait for night fishing, I am no expert, can't stay awake at night.

lol, you might not believe me, but my dad lost one as big as a trashbag, wouldve gone around 35 lbs, was the biggest flounder/fluke Ive evre seen. Everyone on the peir watched him bring it to the surface, get it a foot above the water, then the 20# line snapped.
By the way capt mike, where did you catch all them? |
