Jigging cover
I saw this in a book, and I thought it was a good idea, so if you see cover you want to fish, but dont want to keep casting, put a slip boober above your jig, and throw it out, let it hit the bottom, the pop it, wiggle it, twitch it, whatever, and it will go only up and down. You can also add a rattle, for extra commotion. Also if the fish are spooky this is a good technique. Try dropping your jig into hole in the weeds too.
