Default Loch Raven Resevoir MD

I will be heading to Loch Raven this weekend and was curious if anyone out there frequents this spot? If so do you have any tips/pointers? Ive heard it can be difficult to fish.

Thanks!!!

Default Loch Raven

I was there a few weeks back and had pretty good luck early morning buzzbait. That resivoir is a rough place during the high sun. Not only are you trolling with electric motor only, there are very few places that I have found that provide alot of cover. However, that place is covered in grass, so pretty much everywhere you go, your going to find it. Try starting out about 100yrds from the launch on the left hand side of the bank. Thats where me and my buddy both have landed some nice ones the last 3 times we've gone there. Buzzbait in the morning, white spinnerbaits, and bannana seed lizards on c-rig. Here are some loch raven bass for ya, they're are 6 and 7lbrs in the Loch, so don't think these two little fellas are all there are.

Thanks for the input Hef I appreciate it!!

Loch Raven is located on the outskirts of Towson MD. The DNR here in maryland has the only launch that Ive heard of off Dulaney Valley RD can be found off 695.
