So who is going fishing this weekend?

I was just wondering if anyone is going to try to brave the crowds and do some fishing. We might take a trip to the columbia river and try to catch some of the monster smallmouth they have there.

Yes I am ;D Going to prefish the biggest lake in Indiana(Monroe Reservoir), for our next BFL tourney, with my boater buddy 8)

Mwahahahaha... there isn't going to be anybody ouy where I'm going. Theres a swamp that noone knows about way back in some woods that I plan on taking a canoe out into this weekend. I've seen bass jump in there before and it should be cool just to explore and see some neat stuff.

Only problem is that almost all of florida is getting developed, so any unpressured areas are going...FAST. Â*This swamp is going to get drained and the woods are going to get plowed over in just a few months. Â*Its a shame, cause there is so much cool animal life back there to see.

Already been for three or four days straight. Yes, once again gonna go due battle with the pleasure boats, jet skiers, and yes other bass fishermen. Good time to be on the water if you fish tournaments. You get to see who's fishing your spots. You get to experience the gratitude of being "cut off" by other boaters. You give thanks (or perhaps don't give thanks) for those at the ramp who aren't quite as fast loading or unloading a boat.
You might even be real lucky and see someone who's never done it before. You will witness (some) bank anglers leaving trash behind that they brought in with them. Who knows, you might even get to hear some unkindly words from one boater to another. Enjoy !

Definitely not. Got way too sunburned from wading around in swamps looking for snakes, as well as going to the beach. BTW I DID put sun block on, it just came off while I was in the water at the beach I guess. Heres a pic of the sunburn... lol
