uh, try fishing the fingers if you have a boat, if there are stick-up try flippin a spinnerbait to them and let them helicopter down. bring spinnerbaits around thru them. if there are walls of cattails there are usually a section of dead ones in front of it, try topwaters and spinnerbaits there. try draggin c-rigs over humps or along-side the islands, fish the shady side of the islands. thats all for now

If you have a boat, I always love to flip bullrushes. Even this time of year, they seem to concentrate bass.

How big is the sucker, like 100 or 1000 acres? Fish coves, and if there are dams fish them.

What lake is that you are fishing? Weve been debating and have concluded its Texana. Fill us in a little. South of houston and in the houston area you cant beat a watermellon senko t-rigged weightless up against the brush or some purple tailed black 6.5 culprits. In those cattails I'd try a sluggo. Scum frogs, etc. Have fun with it though man.
