Default Dad's little Bass

Went out with my dad today fishing at Wildcat. He was using shiners, and caught 8 bass, 6 were over 14". I was strictly using artificials and only caught 1 little dink. I was fishing for him today, since it's been awhile since he has been out. I must say it's fun watching him catch some, but kinda hard to sit in one place and throw artificials without catching anything LOL. But I wasn't going for me I went for him, and if I caught a few then great. Here's the pic of the biggest one he caught, 21.5"L X 14.5"GClick image for larger version

ID:	755 Fish calculator says 5.59 LBS, pretty dinky for Wildcat rotflmao

Lizards, consider yourself lucky. I lost my dad about 4 years ago and would love to be able to fish with him-glad you were able to get out with your dad. Nice fish, too On the plus side, though, I sure do have a lot of great memories of fishing with him.

JB,

Your killing me here man rotfl. Once again ARTIST.

Reb,

My dad is my best fishing partner. I actually prefer (just like most of the folks here) to fish artificials, but I'll make concessions for him anyday. I know we don't have forever to fish together, that's why I go out of my way to fish with him as often as possible. Didn't get to spend tons of time with him growing due to my parents divorce, and he moved out of state, way out of state. Plus I'm going out tommorrow with my other fishing partner, and I already told him, I aint driving, just pitching and cranking LOL. We're hitting a River South of me about 1 hour.
