what are the signs of the fall turnover? how long does it last? can you still catch fish during the thurmocline? thanks!

Water temp drops, the top water goes to the bottum, the bottum of the lake comes up and makes the water look like a sewer. This period may last a week or more. Fish suspend but "can" be caught.

Yeah Last Year One Of The Best Times I Had Fishing Was When The Water Turnedover. We Used Big Spinnerbaits Off Rock Walls.
