Lake Guntersville (Scottsboro), Sept 8
Fished 7 hours today out of BB Comer bridge. Its still hot midday but if you wait late enough you can feel the breath of fall. Water fairly clear, hovering around 85 give or take. They were running water at the dam so lots of good current. Caught 9 bass all on the same spinnerbait, shown here - disregard the blue tint thats the camera acting funny...
Had the one fish that was roughly 5 pounds... Then another that was nearly a twin.... Another that was a solid 3.... And all the rest were around 14 inches. I didn't do anything brilliant, just targeted long stretches of hydrilla on the main river channel, preferably ones that got hit by good current.
