Default My best day!

We went out today around 5, and I started out with a renegade worm on a jighead, and got 3 dinks, while my dad missed 2 on a buzzbait. My dad switched to a t-rig, and caught 3 over 14", so I went with one too. At the end of the day, we had 15 fish over 14", two over 17", and two close to 19". That was all in two hours. We each missed 20+ fish.
I will post a bunch of pics later.

you caught 19 fish (which is always good), but you missed 20+ fish? What's up with that? I'd look into why so many were lost, dull hooks? stretchy mono on a light rod?

Well, a couple just came unbuttoned, I had the hookset, and the line tight, but with most when they jumped, they threw the hook. I had a couple, were I wasnt paying attention, and lost them because of that. The rest, swam towards us, and we could get a decent hookset.
