I threw the popR for an hour today with no blow ups, but soon discovered that burning a ratLtrap right over the tops of all the hydrilla , about 14 feet deep, produced fish...the water was so clear and choked out with weeds, it was my only option..I got 2 fish on the first couple of cast, and had to put up with about every other cast bringing in hydrilla, but it produced...
My second producing bait today was the zoom fluke, worked it pretty fast and had 3 on it. |

Spinnerbaits, on a breezy october/november evening/afternoon. That is one of my all out favorite bass catching methods.

When fly fishing have a variety of flys. Poppers and spider flies are great. I also use wooly buggers. This should get you started. If you have any other questions pm me.

Hey JB, I think he was asking about fall fishing, and not your other favorite fall activities.

I think he said fly fishing...
But if you can chuck a spinner bait on an 8wt I will be very impressed. Do it for four hours and I will bow to you as just a humble fly fishing guide. Back to the presumed question at hand. ![]() The dalberg is king of the grass right now. But when the water was warmer this guy was king. ![]() So I like these in the four inch range on a 8wt floating tarpon tapor and 20lb four foot fouro leader. Capt Mike

There anit nothing like a brown jig with a Little craw pork trailer on 14 lb mono.Put the braid away, you aren't in heavy cover , mono is the ticket for fall fishing jigs
