Default PNJ and Raywill forgive me

Well I just got home with my new Flippin, and Pitchin rod. It's a 7'6" Heavy, Moderate-Fast GL2 G-Loomis. I looked all around, and they had some St Croix's and this Rod, plus a bunch of off name brand stuff, for the size I wanted. I chose this one for several reasons.

1. Retractable, so it will fit in my rod bag.
2. It was actually more flexible at the tip, than the St. Croix MH rods.
3. It has a grip and handle length that I like alot, the St Croix has just to long of a handle once you get past the 6'6" size.
4. It said Flippin stick on it ;D
5. I wasn't going to buy a $50 rod, I now know the difference and theres no comparison.
6. I truly do like the GL2's for the price you can buy them at. Not as good as the REAL G-Loomis's but a good substitute for my first one.
7. I needed to get one asap to practice, next tourney is 5/14.

So now go ahead and berate me. But while your at it, below is a list of the reels I currently have that I use. Which would be the best for this application. I'm more concerned with Pitchin, since I'm a backseater, and need to get more distance than Flippin usually. And how should I set up the breaks, and tension control. All of the below reels have 6 weight centrifugal breaking systems. Should I take them all off, or 4 off 2 on etc...

Any input form anyone is appreciated.

1. Shimano Curado B200SF 6.2:1
2. Shimano Curado B200, not SF 6.2:1
3. Pinnacle Carrera Titanium SF 6.2:1
4. Shimano Calais 100 5.8:1
5. Shimano Curado B200 5.1:1
