Couldn't tell! Its an old unit that came off our last boat when we first bought it. It think it was showing me some brush piles on one end and on the other end of the pond I found a slope/drop off into a cove. If your looking for a new FF I would recommend the color Furonos. Ours was hitting bottom in a 1/2 mile of water these past two weekends and shows great detail in 125ft. of water or more (250)!

Nice improv. Very impressed.
BTW, I see your local lake has bullrushes. Hit them hard. They are fish magnets.

yes one in the same, there everywhere in ponds, but I hardly ever see them on the lake.
On some windy days, practice flipping into any gap in the cattails, its a excellant way to catch bass, plus plenty of targets to flip or pitch into. |

good looking setup chris. thats pretty much all you need for most central florida lakes and ponds. looks like that #30lbs motor can move the canoe pretty good too.

The best part about this whole thing is that most of this stuff was just laying around the house! All except some of the trailer pieces but my Dad's a landscaper so I got all those pieces even!

Awesome Chris. Just wondering, do you have to have it registered since you have the trolling motor on it?
Very neat job, and wonderful thinking. Lizards

Not yet but am looking into it. Doesn't need it right now for the places I'm using it (exclusively private pond and lake) but will when I take her to the salt again!
Only 7.25 not worth a ticket. Got to get a title though since it was given to me! |

Bullrushes and cattails are not the same. Bullrushes are cylendrical, cattails are flat. I call cattails sawgrass. I find bullrushes hold more fish on average.
